Took a little while for my food but to be honest, I don't mind waiting for food if it's fresh and hot and it was is whenever I go there. The night manager is extremely friendly, it's no wonder he's a manager. Staff is also friendly.

I love this place and haven't been in awhile. As everyone stated worst drive thru EVER. That is what it is, clearly it's never going to be fixed based on all the complaints. I ordered a Chicken Breast with 2 sides and a drink. I get my order and ask for 1 BBQ sauce. I am told I need to pay extra for that. I mentioned I ordered chicken. I am then told that it's only included on chicken tenders. What a rip off!!!! It's a shame that Popeyes would make their Employees stick to such a stupid rule. I could understand if I asked for enough to stock up my kitchen. It's just 1 BBQ packet for a meal that is almost $10. So disappoint :(

This has to be the worst drive thru there is. The speaker was broken and I had to pull up to the window. Please tell me how you can have someone that cannot understand English taking orders? I had to repeat it 4 times and yet she still got it wrong. I sat in that drive thru for 20 minutes waiting. Completely disorganized place. I love popeyes but so not worth the hassle at this location.

Great place. Ordered catering from here and the chicken was so fresh and on time. I got here a little early and the manager gave me a drink while I waited. Great customer service.

My family got food poisoning from this place. The food made us sick for days. So I guess somebody didn't wash their hands. Warning eating here is VERY risky!

Ok the point of a drive thru is so you can get your food at a timely manner and not walk inside. Well sometimes you have wait like 10 minutes before you can order your food. Sometimes I just drive off cause it's that long of a wait and then on top of that their speaker phone doesn't work it cuts off. Boo for that but I still love Popeyes over kfc

Good food bad service. Ordered a simple chicken meal before lunch time and somehow they forgot my order....good thing I'm an angry person because waiting for 15 mins is a little too much. To top it off before they gave me my meal they had my tray on top of the chicken! Gross! I asked for my money back and left.

I like Popeyes chicken. I don't get it very often, so I consider it somewhat of a guilty treat when I do. I just like that spicy chicken and the red beans and rice. First time at this location on a early Saturday evening. Here is the summary of my visit. Service = not very good. Four people working the front and they seemed more interested in talking with each other. Cleanliness = I looked at the back when waiting for my order and it looked a mess. Yikes! Food = Dried out chicken that was way past it's prime. Way past. If I did not live so far away from this location, I would have brought it back for a refund. I was so disappointed since I was looking forward to the chicken. Three strikes and you are out in my book. I will not return to this spot. All of the above could be corrected with competent management which they definitely did not have on this shift. This is not an indictment on Popeyes in general, just my experience at this location. I'm not sure who runs this place but they're not up to the task. Ridiculously slow for "fast food" i waited a good 20 minutes for the order. The place was crowded and understaffed. The food was alright but nothing special, even compared to other Popeye's. Save yourself the trip and go elsewhere.

I eat here once every three months or so. Food is typical Popeye's. So it depends if it's your thing or not. I usually stop in there for the fried crawfish when they have it. Other New Orleans type dishes are also quick and tasty. Pro: Always great service, which is something I don't ordinarily notice in a fast food place. Employee's are polite and helpful. Clean inside. Con: Place is always cold in the fall and winter, most likely because it is so small and they have big glass windows. Place seems a little run down, although everything inside is clean. I wish they could spruce it up a bit. Finally, I wish they offered more menu items on a regular basis.

I know some people swear by Popeyes' but I just don't get it. In my opinion KFC or even Jewel has much better fried chicken. The chicken is more grizzle and fat than meat, the breading is nearly flavorless, and the chicken is overall very greasy. On the plus side, the coating is perfectly crispy and the biscuits are some of the best. It's not that I hate Popeyes', I just think you can get better chicken at other places.

Ive been to this place about 3 times over the past couple of months. I went here for my first time a few months ago. I just went again yesterday. There isn't many people who come here which is a good thing if you hate lines and long waits. The cashiers are quick. This place is small and not loud at all. You can have private conversations here and don't have to worry about the cashiers staring at you. Most people just take out from here but we decided to eat inside for once. It was real hot yesterday...almost 100 degrees I believe...anyway, the AC was on full blast which was good. Made us forget about the hot temps outside. The food service is fast, we got our food within about 5 minutes. If you want it cooked just right, then its worth the wait. We ordered a family meal and even though we told em it was for here, they gave everything to us in to go boxes. They didnt give us napkins, napkins arent even available at any of the tables or at the counter, you must ask for them. They also didnt give us spoons or any utensils to eat our sides with. Considering the chicken is very greasy we kept having to ask for napkins. They kinda got sick of us asking for napkins. Maybe if they had napkin dispensers at the tables or counter, then maybe we wouldnt of had to keep asking them. Plus we were the only customers there, they were just standing around gossiping away. We had to ask for condiments too which they never ask you if you need any. I guess this place is "ghetto" if you can call it that. The soda dispenser looks old to the point the words "push" on the dispenser were almost faded, the sodas had old logos on them on the dispenser, plus the whole area in itself is shady. The liquor store across the street gets robbed every so often. But in the end, the spicy wings are well worth it. Id come back once in a while...personally I like it better than KFC. But the ambience and the place in general isnt that great looking. KFC has better cust service and inside ambience looks, but popeyes has the better tasting chicken.

The food is your typical Popeye's chicken, but the purpose of my review is to praise the customer service. The lady who took our order was the friendliest fast food server I've ever encountered, especially considering it's Chicago! She even told us to just take the drinks (for free) when we had originally asked for water. Erm, hope this doesn't get her in trouble with her boss... Yeah, who raves about customer service at fast food joints? But that's how pleasantly surprised I was. Good customer service really makes the overall experience that much more positive.
